Protesta de médicos surcoreanos – nivel 2

Los médicos en formación de Corea del Sur protestan contra el plan del gobierno de aceptar a más estudiantes en las facultades de medicina.
Los médicos sostienen que mejorar la remuneración y las condiciones de trabajo es más importante que admitir a más estudiantes. Las protestas interrumpen los servicios hospitalarios, los hospitales cancelan cirugías y las salas de urgencias están llenas. Los estudiantes en prácticas trabajan muchas horas y creen que la contratación de personal superior resolvería los problemas. El gobierno tiene previsto admitir a 2.000 estudiantes de aquí a 2025 para hacer frente a la futura escasez de médicos.
Algunos dicen que ya hay suficientes médicos y que el plan no resolverá problemas más importantes.
