La policía hiere a una gran red de hackers – nivel 2

Una operación policial internacional denominada Operación Kronos ha desarticulado un grupo de hackers. El grupo de ransomware LockBit es bien conocido por sus acciones dañinas.
Catorce países se unieron y cerraron 34 servidores en varios lugares, como Holanda, Alemania, Finlandia, Francia, Suiza, Australia, EE.UU. y Reino Unido. La policía detuvo a dos personas vinculadas al grupo en Polonia y Ucrania, y congeló más de 200 cuentas de criptomoneda.
LockBit tenía como objetivo organismos gubernamentales, hospitales, escuelas y empresas mundiales, y el grupo realizó más de 1.700 ataques en todo el mundo. Los expertos afirman que la operación fue la interrupción del ransomware más importante de la historia.
