En muchas partes del mundo, la gente come insectos. Son una parte normal de la dieta de la gente porque están por todas partes y su consumo es saludable.
En Occidente, mucha gente piensa que comer insectos es repugnante. Los científicos decían que los gusanos de la harina sabían a carne, y sabían diferente si los cocinabas de otra manera. Si los cocinas al vapor, huelen a maíz dulce. Si los asas o fríes, saben a gambas.
Los insectos como alimento tienen más beneficios. Son sanos y mejores para el planeta que la carne. Necesitan menos tierra y agua, y no producen gases como las vacas y otros animales grandes.
