Los insectos son animales muy pequeños. Pueden ser arañas, bichos o gusanos. En muchas partes del mundo, la gente come insectos. Es un alimento normal para ellos comer insectos.
Los insectos son muy saludables. A muchos occidentales no les gusta comer insectos. Creen que son repugnantes.
Algunos insectos saben a carne. Por ejemplo, si cocinas un gusano de la harina al vapor, huele a maíz dulce. Si lo fríes, sabe a gamba.
Los insectos como alimento son mucho mejores que la carne. Los insectos necesitan menos tierra y agua. Las vacas y otros animales producen gases que pueden ser nocivos. Los insectos no producen casi ninguno.
