Narendra Modi dirige el gobierno de la India. Inaugura un nuevo templo hindú en Ayodhya.
El templo está en el emplazamiento de una mezquita. Pero el pueblo destruyó la mezquita hace 30 años. Muchos consideran que la inauguración del templo es un momento importante. Pero otros dicen que sólo se trata de política. Habrá elecciones en India. El templo estará listo el año que viene.
Las luchas por Ayodhya comenzaron hace cien años. Se vuelven muy serias en 1992. Es el último año de la mezquita. En 2019, el tribunal supremo dice que destruir la mezquita es contrario a la ley. Pero los hindúes se quedan con el terreno.
Algunos se alegran de que ahora haya un templo. A otros, les recuerda cosas malas del pasado.
