La Oficina de Correos británica tiene un gran problema. Entre 1999 y 2015, culparon erróneamente a la gente de robar dinero.
El sistema informático comete un error. Dice que no hay suficiente dinero en las oficinas de correos. Las personas que dirigen pequeñas oficinas de correos deben pagar ese dinero. Pero no hacen nada malo. Correos no acepta el error. Esto causa aún más problemas. Correos culpa a más de 3.500 personas. 900 reciben una multa. Algunas personas enferman, pierden amigos e incluso se rompen familias. Algunas personas se quitan la vida. Finalmente, en 2019, un tribunal dice que no son culpables. Hay un programa de TV sobre este problema. La gente vuelve a enfadarse. El gobierno hace algo. Ahora pedirán perdón y pagarán dinero a las personas perjudicadas. Pero puede que éste no sea el final del problema.
