En Alabama, Estados Unidos, una mujer con una enfermedad poco frecuente dio a luz con éxito a dos niñas gemelas. La mujer tiene dos úteros.
Kelsey Hatcher y su marido dieron la bienvenida a sus hijas Roxi Layla y Rebel Laken en el Hospital de la Universidad de Alabama en Birmingham. Kelsey tenía una posibilidad entre un millón de que le ocurriera algo así. Incluso su médico se sorprendió. Los médicos pusieron fin al embarazo de alto riesgo a las 39 semanas, tras un parto de 20 horas. Una niña nació de forma natural y la otra por cesárea.
Kelsey tiene previsto compartir pronto la historia completa del parto, pero ahora está contenta de estar en casa para estrechar lazos y recuperarse durante las vacaciones.
