Un volcán entra en erupción en Islandia. Las autoridades y los científicos vigilan el volcán durante semanas. Se producen muchos terremotos. La gente espera a que se produzca la erupción.

La erupción se produce en la península de Reykjanes. Unas 4.000 personas deben abandonar la ciudad de Grindavik. Esta ciudad está a unos 40 km al suroeste de Reikiavik. Las autoridades también cerraron el balneario de la Laguna Azul el mes pasado. La erupción cerca de Grindavik produce grietas en el suelo. Se dirigen hacia la ciudad. El aeropuerto internacional de Keflavik está abierto, pero los vuelos llegan con retraso. Las imágenes muestran roca caliente saliendo del suelo por la noche.

La policía pide a la gente que tenga cuidado. La erupción es fuerte. La gente debe mantenerse alejada.
