Incidentes antisemitas en universidades de EE.UU. – nivel 2

Los republicanos de la Cámara de Representantes de Estados Unidos interrogaron a los rectores de tres universidades sobre sus esfuerzos para hacer frente al antisemitismo tras un ataque de Hamás contra Israel el 7 de octubre.
Durante su testimonio, los rectores criticaron el atentado. Confirmaron que la seguridad de los estudiantes judíos era muy importante, pero al mismo tiempo protegieron la libertad de expresión en los campus. Las universidades se enfrentaron a críticas, especialmente Harvard y la Universidad de Pensilvania. Algunas personas dijeron que las universidades reaccionaron con lentitud ante los incidentes antisemitas tras las manifestaciones pro palestinas y pro israelíes. Los republicanos de la Cámara de Representantes presionaron a los presidentes sobre varios incidentes y expresaron su preocupación por la seguridad en los campus.
