Renault pretende aumentar la confianza en su unidad de vehículos eléctricos, Ampere, proyectando un aumento de los ingresos hasta 10.000 millones de euros en 2025 y 25.000 millones de euros en 2031.
La empresa ha revelado sus objetivos financieros, incluido el punto de equilibrio en 2025 y un margen operativo del 10% en 2030, antes de una salida a bolsa prevista para 2024. La salida a bolsa se enfrenta a retos debidos a la lenta demanda de vehículos eléctricos, las incertidumbres del mercado y el aumento de la competencia china. El director general Luca de Meo destacó la capacidad de tesorería de Renault para el crecimiento de Ampere, pero prefirió la OPV para acelerar el desarrollo. Sin embargo, afirmó que si la valoración cae por debajo de un umbral no revelado, se abandonaría el plan de OPV.
Renault también presentó un nuevo modelo EV, Twingo Legend, con un precio inferior a 20.000 euros, con el objetivo de competir con alternativas chinas asequibles.
