Elon Musk es el propietario de X desde octubre. Desde 2019, no hay anuncios políticos en Twitter. Las cosas cambian en enero. Ahora es posible publicar algunos anuncios en EEUU. Estos anuncios tratan temas como el voto. X permite que los anuncios obtengan más dinero. X tendrá un equipo más grande. Más gente comprobará que la información de X es cierta.

La gente dice que X y otros medios sociales no impiden la información errónea en las grandes elecciones. A algunas personas les preocupan los planes de X. Twitter tiene problemas para recortar puestos de trabajo y mantener la seguridad de la información.
