Protestas por el agua de Fukushima – nivel 2

Manifestantes reunidos en la capital de Corea del Sur. Exigen al gobierno que tome medidas contra el vertido por parte de Japón de agua radiactiva tratada procedente de la central nuclear de Fukushima.

A pesar de las objeciones de las comunidades pesqueras y las organizaciones ecologistas, Japón empezó a verter el agua al mar. Unas 50.000 personas se unieron a la protesta. Les preocupan los riesgos para la pesca local.

Japón y los científicos dijeron que el agua tratada era segura. Tokyo Electric Power filtró el agua pero conservó el isótopo radiactivo tritio, muy difícil de eliminar. Corea del Sur no ve problemas, pero a los activistas les preocupan las repercusiones desconocidas.
