El agua de Fukushima llegará al océano – nivel 2

Las Naciones Unidas acuerdan que Japón puede verter al océano el agua radiactiva tratada de la central de Fukushima.

El Organismo Internacional de Energía Atómica (OIEA) realizó una revisión de dos años y concluyó que era seguro verter el agua al océano. El impacto sobre la naturaleza será mínimo. Japón insiste en que el vertido de agua es seguro, porque los expertos eliminaron la mayoría de los elementos radiactivos, dejando sólo tritio. Pero los sindicatos pesqueros japoneses, los países vecinos y China están preocupados por el plan.

Japón no ha anunciado la fecha del vertido de agua. El país está esperando la aprobación oficial del organismo regulador nuclear nacional.
