Ley antigay de Uganda – nivel 2

El presidente de Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, firmó una ley muy estricta contra las personas LGBTQ, que incluye la pena de muerte para ciertos casos de homosexualidad.

Como consecuencia, los países occidentales, critican a Uganda y están considerando quién sancionará al país. La ley también podría afectar a los esfuerzos del país para luchar contra el VIH, porque las personas LGBTQ podrían no tener acceso a los servicios sanitarios y de prevención.

Los activistas y organizaciones LGBTQ están preocupados por el impacto de la ley en las personas LGBTQ de Uganda. Afirman que todas las personas tienen los mismos derechos, y que no importa cuál sea su orientación sexual.
