Las empresas chinas que fabrican productos para niños están ampliando sus líneas de productos para incluir ropa para adultos y mascotas.
El descenso de la natalidad en el país es consecuencia de la política del hijo único, que duró de 1980 a 2015. El gobierno elevó el límite a tres hijos en 2021, pero las parejas siguen sin tener bebés. Yan Zhang, director general de la marca de ropa infantil NATUNAKIDS de Shanghai, espera que las ventas disminuyan en los próximos tres a cinco años.
A los clientes les preocupa que sus marcas favoritas puedan quebrar como consecuencia de los cambios en el sector. Los expertos predicen un mal futuro para las empresas de bebés en China.
