Silicon Valley es un banco estadounidense. La semana pasada quebró. No puede devolver a la gente sus depósitos.

La Corporación Federal de Seguro de Depósitos asegura los depósitos de hasta 250.000 dólares. Pero el problema es que la gente tiene depósitos de miles de millones de dólares. Pueden perder su dinero. El presidente estadounidense dice que la gente recuperará su dinero y que el sistema bancario estadounidense es seguro. Poco después de la noticia, las autoridades cierran un banco en Nueva York. Los expertos afirman que volverán a producirse situaciones similares. Los bancos no pueden devolver los depósitos.

Los bancos europeos se preocupan. Establecen normas estrictas para controlar la situación. Pero ya han perdido 100.000 millones de dólares en una semana.
