Funcionarios de más de 100 países se reúnen el domingo. Firman un importante tratado. El tratado ayuda a salvar los océanos.
Grandes partes de los océanos no pertenecen a nadie. No hay normas. Nadie protege estos océanos. Los océanos del mundo están contaminados. La gente pesca demasiados peces. Los océanos también se están acidificando demasiado. Todo esto significa que hay menos vida marina y menos peces en los océanos.
Durante más de 15 años, los países discuten el tratado. Los países no quieren perder dinero. Pero finalmente, dicen que es importante salvar los océanos. Según el tratado, los países protegerán el 30% de la tierra y el mar del mundo para 2030.
