Cocaína falsa – nivel 2

Frente a la costa de Ecuador, la Guardia Costera estadounidense sacó paquetes con casi tres toneladas de cocaína.
Según las autoridades, tal cantidad equivalía aproximadamente a la mitad del consumo de cocaína de Australia en un año. La policía australiana colaboró con las autoridades estadounidenses para desarticular una red internacional de narcotráfico. La semana pasada, la policía australiana anunció que utilizaron cocaína falsa, y tuvieron éxito. Detuvieron a 12 personas y se incautaron de una gran cantidad de dinero en efectivo.
La policía publicó información sobre cómo lo hicieron. Los agentes fabricaron paquetes exactamente iguales a los que contenían cocaína real. Arrojaron 1,2 toneladas de cocaína falsa al océano, a 40 millas de la costa. Luego esperaron a que alguien registrara el mar y recogiera los paquetes.
