Japón tiene una nueva palabra para referirse al tiempo: «kokushobi». Significa un día de un calor insoportable. Los japoneses usan esta palabra cuando la temperatura supera los 40 °C.

Japón suele tener muchas palabras bonitas para referirse a la lluvia y las flores. Pero esta nueva palabra es una advertencia. Demuestra que el mundo se está calentando mucho. El verano pasado fue el más caluroso de la historia en Japón. Los científicos están preocupados. El calor extremo puede hacer que la gente se ponga enferma o incluso provocar la muerte. Es muy peligroso para las personas mayores. Las grandes ciudades con muchos edificios se mantienen calientes durante mucho tiempo.

Las autoridades quieren que la gente use esta nueva palabra. Deben entender que el calor es peligroso. Quieren que todo el mundo cuide su salud cuando lleguen los días de calor.
