Cuba no tiene petróleo – nivel 2

Cuba se ha quedado sin gasóleo ni petróleo. El Gobierno dice que el sistema energético del país está en una situación crítica. Este problema se debe al bloqueo de EE. UU., que impide que otros países vendan petróleo a Cuba.

Antiguos aliados como México y Venezuela ya no envían combustible, y la ayuda de Rusia ya se ha acabado. Por eso, la mayor parte de la isla está a oscuras por la noche. La vida es muy difícil para los cubanos. Los cortes de luz duran hasta 22 horas al día, así que la gente se despierta en mitad de la noche para cocinar o lavar la ropa cuando vuelve la luz por un rato. No pueden guardar comida en la nevera porque no hay electricidad. Es muy difícil comprar cosas básicas como el pan.

Cientos de personas iniciaron protestas en la capital, La Habana. Bloquearon calles y quemaron basura para mostrar lo enfadados que estaban con el gobierno.
